I think about design like I think about mountains. I enjoy the new challenges of every new project and the reward waiting for me at the top. I always learn something new about myself, and impart that awareness into a design with new and unexplored insight. A design is a force of nature, huge and immense with all the weight of a thousand people’s criticisms and expectations. People look at it, at it’s beauty and magnitude, and they see every spark of vision that was triggered in it’s inception.

My mountain, △, is deconstructed, simple and harmonious. It’s easily digested and understood in an instant. Once that occurs to someone, that great idea, as powerful and noble as a mountain, is communicated with such elementary precision. I know that the right idea, at the right time, given the proper setting, and in the hands of a proper person has the power to shape not just the individual, but the entire world.

Once I reach the summit of a project, I set my sights on a whole range of higher and more treacherous peaks. I’m not frightened of the next great challenge, I’m thrilled at the new trails laid out before me. One project at a time I become big enough to move mountains.

I have a Ontario Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design which I received from Fanshawe College in 2009. I received Deans List recognition of Honours in my third year. School taught me to use and master Adobe Suite applications, and good practices in the world of design which I used as a backbone to my current explorations in web design, multimedia, identity design, branding, merchandise design, social media, and web programming.
I want to explore more print media and advertising, mobile app development, and design in a sustainable world.
