Douglas Hofstadter wrote “I am a Strange Loop” a few years ago now. His original cover art (seen here) is cold, sterile, and scientific. This re-designed book jacket adds some warmth. This novel is about the workings of the human mind and the physical world. It is deep and complex and It’s cover should portray these themes! Book jackets and publishing is very interesting to me, I would like to someday do more projects like this one.

Imprint depot is a company that specializes in custom print items. They can print everything from whistles or bottles to christmas ornaments! They wanted something that said “full colour printing!!”, and soar them into the promotional products industry. I created a website and logo for them. Check out the website
I came up with and developed a concept for a Cirque Du Soliel show. I came up with the concept of Himemori, based around the title character of Princess Mononoke (an animated film by Hayao Miyazaki) (IMDB). I decided to center the story around the wolf princess herself, instead of Prince Ashitaka. The general themes and setting are still very much similar – the wolf girl is an orphan raised by wolves protecting the forest of the gods and spirits from the advancing human civilization.
The promotional material for Himemori was fabricated digitally based on my own photo-shoot and materials. The mood and atmosphere is dark and daring with a bit of magical mystery.
This short loop to promote the show was designed to go on LCD displays’ at the venue. It captures the old fantasy story mood and adventure/battle atmosphere!
Synthetik is an electronic music magazine to which I am the editor, designer, photographer, and co-ordinator. I laid out every page, designed every ad, and edited every article (written by close friends of mine).
I put a lot of heart into this, this is the prize of my portfolio!

You all know this bad-boy! This is a device that people can use to travel through time! Seriously! Just don’t run into your parents in the past because your mother might fall in love with you and cause your brother to slowly dissolve head first. This is actually not about that. This is an illustration I did in school. It demonstrates an advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator. This image is fully vectorized! Which means that some day if I wanted to (which i do) I can print it out like 20 feet long and put it across my whole apartment!!
Night Raiders is a red wine that comes in a plastic bottle. I used this bottle for an Illustration project to demonstrate and hone my skills in Adobe Illustrator. You’ll see from the original photograph, below (after the break), the work that was put into this.
The cutest and most bubbliest coffee shop ever! This was a project I did a long time ago. I don’t have the heart to not include it in my portfolio. It isn’t a great indication of my design capabilities —
But It’s too cute for words.
Just imagine… Rainbow bubblegum swirl flavoured coffee and voíla! Now it makes some sense!
